Happy New Year!

Welcome to my gratitude journal where I share one thing for which I’m thankful in each of the areas of family, work, and well-being.

Every day, every moment, and every experience (even the “bad” ones) present opportunities for thankfulness. But to whom are we to express thankfulness? God, our Heavenly Father, must be the object of our thankfulness. All good things come from Him (Jas 1:17); and He works all things (once again, including the “bad” things) together for the good for those who love Him (Rom 8:28).

Today, I’m thankful to God for…

Family: Blessing me with a wife and three children. See…I’m one of those super ambitious types who sometimes struggles with wanting worldly success. I can admit that. Young children require a lot of time…and the time they require often conflicts with my creative pursuits. But you know what? Relationships matter more than anything I write and publish…especially my relationships with my wife and our children. Life is short and I’m thankful that God has BLESSED a selfish fellow like me with four souls (my wife and our three children) who help me be more selfless, patient, and giving.

Work: Allowing my new podcast, The Chris Craft Show, to impact the world with good stories and God’s truth! Our download numbers are increasing every month, and I’m receiving positive feedback. It’s been a true joy to record and promote each episode. More to come!

Well-being: Being back in the gym after a long time away. No excuses…I should have been back on a steady workout regimen. But I won’t dwell on the past. It’s time to execute in the present and move forward positively. I can already feel an improvement in my injured hip/psoas with more running, lifting, and stretching. Pray that I keep it up!

These are the three things for which I’m thankful today.

I pray that my journal will inspire you to express thankfulness to God.
