Hello lovely people!
Welcome to my daily gratitude journal. Everyday I will share one thing for which I’m thankful in each of the areas of family, work, and well-being.
Every day, every moment, and every experience (even the “bad” ones) present opportunities for thankfulness. But to whom are we to express thankfulness? God, our Heavenly Father, must be the object of our thankfulness. All good things come from Him (Jas 1:17); and He works all things (once again, including the “bad” things) together for the good for those who love Him (Rom 8:28).
Today, I’m thankful to God for…
Family: The snowy, hot chocolaty fun that we had down here in Georgia. The kids had a blast having snowball fights and making snow angels. Our 2 y/o son wasn’t too interested though.
Work: Big business possibilities in 2018. I plan to publish a new book in 2018, grow the number of churches we’re serving with content and member engagement consulting, and expand our investing portfolio. Please pray for God to order my steps.
Well-being: My brother Tom Freeman’s Sunday school lesson on the purpose of suffering in the life of a Christian. Suffering matures us and slowly makes us more like Jesus Christ. This morning’s lesson definitely cleared up some things for me and kept me from throwing a pity party today. Praise God!
These are the three things for which I’m thankful today.
I pray that my journal will inspire you to express thankfulness daily to God.
