Peace and greetings!
Welcome to my daily gratitude journal. Everyday I will share one thing for which I’m thankful in each of the areas of family, work, and well-being.
Every day, every moment, and every experience (even the “bad” ones) present opportunities for thankfulness. But to whom are we to express thankfulness? God, our Heavenly Father, must be the object of our thankfulness. All good things come from Him (Jas 1:17); and He works all things (once again, including the “bad” things) together for the good for those who love Him (Rom 8:28).
Today, I’m thankful to God for…
Family: When our children are disrespectful and disobedient. It’s not fun going through it and disciplining them, BUT it’s a great reminder of God’s forgiveness and patience with us, His children, when we are disobedient to Him according to His law and statutes. It’s amazing grace. Please pray that I’m patient with our three children as they grow and mature.
Work: The kind church staff at The Church of the Apostles, where I work doing content writing and editing two days a week. The brothers and sisters here are a real blessing.
Well-being: The welcomed end of a head cold that I was fighting over the last two weeks. No more coughing! Praise Him! 🙂
These are the three things for which I’m thankful today.
I pray that my journal will inspire you to express thankfulness daily to God.
