Daily Gratitude Journal
[bctt tweet=”Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. – 1 Chr 16:34″ username=”CraftWrites”]

Welcome to my daily gratitude journal. Everyday I will share one thing for which I’m thankful in each of the areas of family, work, and well-being.

Every day, every moment, and every experience (even the “bad” ones) present opportunities for thankfulness. But to whom are we to express thankfulness? God, our Heavenly Father, must be the object of our thankfulness. All good things come from Him (Jas 1:17); and He works all things (once again, including the “bad” things) together for the good for those who love Him (Rom 8:28).

Today, I’m thankful to God for…

Family: The peaceful rest that we have in our household. When you think about the turmoil in some households, you realize that peaceful rest is a blessing…not a given.

Work: The opportunity to research, learn, and invest in other businesses via the stock market. I love the math of it all. And I love to learn what other businesses are doing in order to be successful.

Well-being: Him blessing my wife and me with faith in Jesus Christ. I’m reading through 1 Kings these days. The detail that King Solomon put into the design and building of the Temple to the LORD is truly amazing. And to think that God has blessed my wife, me, and many other followers of Jesus with being His living, walking temples…it’s such an honor! Please pray that our children will be living temples to the LORD in the future.

These are the three things for which I’m thankful today.

I pray that my journal will inspire you to express thankfulness daily to God.
