Welcome to my gratitude journal. Today, I will share one thing for which I’m thankful in each of the areas of family, work, and well-being.
Every day, every moment, and every experience (even the “bad” ones) present opportunities for thankfulness. But to whom are we to express thankfulness? God, our Heavenly Father, must be the object of our thankfulness. All good things come from Him (Jas 1:17); and He works all things (once again, including the “bad” things) together for the good for those who love Him (Rom 8:28).
Today, I’m thankful to God for…
Family: So much in terms of family. Everyone has gotten over the nasty part of colds. Our oldest daughter finished a successful injury-free season of basketball. We’ve started a new session of small groups at church. We are incredibly blessed. But family life isn’t without its unique challenges, so please lift us up in prayer.
Work: How He opens new doors when one closes. I’m excited about the prospects of new business and career opportunities that are on the horizon. I’ll keep you posted!
Well-being: The excellent care that I’ve received at Summit Urgent Care (Peachtree City) and Keystone Chiropractic (Dr. Jeremy Bishop) for my back and neck after a car accident a couple weeks ago. I thank God for His grace in keeping me from severe injury.
These are the three things for which I’m thankful today.
I pray that my journal will inspire you to express gratitude to God.
